Enquiries about Archives

Members of the public are welcome to visit the Cumbria Archive Centres personally; staff will be available to give basic assistance free of charge. We are also happy to answer enquiries relating to the whereabouts of records, the holdings of the Cumbria Archive Service, or supply advice about the use of archives for a particular area of research. Such enquiries, whether received by post, e-mail, telephone or fax, will also be answered free of charge.  The particular Archive Centre to contact depends of the location of your enquiry: full contact details (webpage)
