Bus timetable - Stagecoach 508

There will be major disruption to this service due to road closures until late 2022

Due to roadworks which will close sections of the A592 for re-surfacing and for installation of safety measures, there will be major disruption to this service until the end of the year

The normal Winter timetable which only runs between Penrith and Patterdale started from 7th November but will often not be able to operate the full route due to a number of road closures between Pooley Bridge and Patterdale

The road will be open before 8.00 and after 5.00, and on certain weekends, which will mean certain journeys will operate, and the bus will continue to serve all stops when it is safe to do so.

Timetable from 5th December to 15th December

If the plans proceeds to timetable the normal timetable will the resume from 16 December, but this may change due to progress and weather conditions

Timetable from 16th December

For various technical reasons the works have to take place outside the Winter period, and were delayed to start after the end of the main school holidays, to minimize disruption.

Due to road widths and the size of machinery being used it is not possible to allow buses to run through except the School bus,.

Please note dates may be subject to change depending on weather conditions, so please check close to the time of travel for more up to date information.

Apologies for the disruption caused
