Coronavirus (COVID-19)

All enquiries for school admissions should be sent by email only.  The School Admissions Team are working from home and we will respond to all enquiries by email rather than by telephone.  Please send your enquiries to the school admissions email: school.admissions@cumbria.gov.uk

Starting school/transfer to junior school in September 2020:

Parents/carers who have made a timely application for their child to start school or transfer to junior school in September 2020 will be notified of the school they have been offered on 16th April, which is National Offer day. All parents will be notified by e-mail. If parents do not receive notification on the 16th April they can contact School Admissions by e-mail. If you are refused a place at any of your preferred schools, the letter you will receive will include full details of how you can appeal or what you should do if you are unhappy with the outcome of your application. ALL QUERIES TO SCHOOL ADMISSIONS SHOULD BE MADE VIA E-MAIL.
