Supported Living Services

Supported living or 'support for living', is a type of support that helps vulnerable adults, including people with learning disabilities, to live independently in their own homes and in the community.

Supported living arrangements are very flexible and are designed to give each person choice and control over their home and the way they live their life.

Individual person centred support packages are designed to help people develop their independence and be involved in decisions, this can include:

  • where to live
  • who to live with
  • who would provide support
  • how people will be supported.

Supported living is not just for people who are more independent, levels of support are tailored to match the person's individual needs.
