At 14:17 on the 25th October 2020, two fire engines and a water bowser attended a report of a large vehicle on fire at Caldew Wood, Penrith. This was a fire involving one excavator, the fire was extinguished using two dry powder extinguishers and one main jet. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.

Road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one casualty was released by fire crews and passed to the ambulance crews. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.

At 17:59 hours on 22nd October 2020 three fire engines and a water rescue team were called to barrow lodge, b5289 Grange bridge to the junction with watendlath at Barrow bay, Borrowdale with reports of three casualties in the water. On arrival, fire service personnel rescued four casualties from the water and were left in care of ambulance personnel. Mountain rescue, ambulance and police also attended. Fire service were in attendance approximately two hours ten minutes.

At 01:35 hours on Wednesday 21st October 2020 three fire engines fire stations attended a domestic building fire on the sands, Appleby-in-Westmorland. The fire involved a first floor flat. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and were on scene for one hour and forty-seven minutes.

At 21:14 hours on 11th October 2020, two fire engines attended a carbon monoxide alarm activation at meadowlands avenue, Barrow-in-Furness. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two gas monitors and detected carbon monoxide in the property. The incident was handed over to cadent gas. One casualty suffering symptoms of carbon monoxide was checked over by ambulance and conveyed to hospital. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.

At 09:40 hours on 2nd October 2020, five fire engines were mobilised to a road traffic collision on the M6 Northbound, between Junctions 39 and 40. On arrival, crews discovered a road traffic collision involving one vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to extricate the casualty from the vehicle and was handed over to on scene paramedics. Crews made the scene safe and were in attendance for approximately one hour.
