At 10:50 on the 26th January 2020, three fire engines attended reports of a gas leak on Southend Road, Penrith. Crews evacuated a building and checked for signs of gas using two breathing apparatus and gas monitoring equipment. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and forty minutes.

At 02:17 on 26th January 2020 two fire engines attended three storey domestic terraced building on William Street, Wigton. On arrival crews found the property to be heavily smoke logged due to un attended cooking. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke. One casualty was rescued by fire service personnel and received oxygen therapy. Crews were in attendance for forty five minutes.

At 19:03 hours on 25th January 2020 three fire engines attended a fire involving an outbuilding in Brampton. Firefighters used two main jets and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour forty five minutes.

At 19:10 on the 22nd of Janurary 2020, Two Appliances were mobilised to reports of a building fire in Pembroke Court Kendal. On arrival crews found an oven alight on arrival, Crews used two breathing apparatus and a dry powder extingquisher to extingquish the fire. Crews were in attendance approcimately 45 minutes.

At 16:27 on the 21st of January 2020, 2 Appliances were mobilised to reports of a building fire at Inglewood Edge, Millhouse. On arrvial crews found a farm incinerator chimney well alight. Crews liased with farmers to isolate the machine, used a thermal image camera and stoody by with a hose reel to resolve the incident. Crews were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.

On the 20th of January 2020 at approximately 12:30 Two Fire Engines were mobilised to reports of a building fire on Kirkland View Kendal. On arrival crews found a first floor flat storage cupboard alight. Crews used 4 Breathing Apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 2 Thermal Image Camera`s to extingquish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 90 minutes.

On 19th January 2020 at 14:05 two fire engines from Carlisle west and Carlisle east fire stations attended a fire involving a grill pan on Ashley Street, Carlisle. One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation by fire service personnel prior to arrival of northwest ambulance service. Fire service used two breathing apparatus, hose reel, thermal imaging camera and oxygen therapy. Fire service remained at scene for forty five minutes.

On 19th January 2020 at 12:50 hours three fire engines from Workington and Whitehaven were mobilised to a fire involving a chip pan on Edinburgh Avenue, Workington. One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation by fire service personnel prior to arrival of North West ambulance service. Fire service remained at scene for one hour and ten minutes.

At 19:47 hours on January 18th 2020 three fire engines from Carlisle east, Carlisle west and Longtown fire stations attended a domestic building fire in Meade Road, Carlisle. This was an external rubbish fire that spread to the property and one casualty was led from the property by fire service personnel suffering smoke inhalation. Fire service used one hose reel jet to deal with the fire and were at the scene for just over two hours.

At 06:03am on 18th January 2020, two fire engines attended an incident on Newlands road, Carlisle. The fire involved the living room of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately 50 minutes.

At 21:30 hours on 17th January 2020, two fire engines attended an incident in Milnthorpe. The fire involved a vehicle, Firefighters found that the vehicle was well alight on arrival. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes.

At 09:43 on 15th January 2020 two fire engines from Kirkby Stephen and Sedbergh attended a fire involving the chimney of a domestic property at Wharton. Firefighters used one hose reel, a 9m meter ladder, a roof ladder, a firefighting backpack and small tools to extinguish the fire. Fire fighters were in attendance for approximately two hours.

The incident was a fire involving two domestic properties and two outbuildings, firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras to bring the fire under control and were in attendance for approximately two hours.

At 21:38 hours on the 7th January 2020 four fire engines attended a fire at St Nicolas Bridge, Carlisle. The fire involved a store of old railway sleepers, approximately fifteen tonnes in quantity. Eighty litres of compressed air foam concentrate and thirty six thousand litres of water were used to extinguish the fire. Crews were at the scene for approximately three hours and ten minutes.

On arrival crews discovered a fire involving the chimney of a two storey domestic property and used safe working at height equipment, one hose reel jet and chimney rods to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two and a half hours.

The fire involved a vehicle within an underground car park and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews remained at scene approximately forty minutes.

At 1456 hours on 30th December 2019 three fire engines from Kirkby Stephen, Sedburgh and Kendal attended a road traffic collision with persons trapped on the M6 south junction 38. Fire fighters used small tools and a spine board to release one casualty from the vehicle with the assistance of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.

On the 27th of December 2019 at 19.34 hours two fire engines from Millom and Bootle attended a road traffic collision on the A595, one casualty was extricated by fire service personnel using stabilising equipment, stab fast pack and is now in the care of North West ambulance service crews were detained for approximately twenty five minutes.
