At 12:39 on the 22nd October 2021, three fire engines attended an incident at Castle Bank, Appleby-in-Westmorland to a vehicle that had become stranded in the river. Firefighters used wading equipment to rescue three casualties and remained on scene for approximately fifty minutes.

At 16:15 hours on 18th October 2021, three fire engines attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A689 at Brampton. Firefighters assisted paramedics to remove one casualty from a vehicle and there were a further three casualties. Fire crews made the scene safe and were in attendance for around forty minutes.

At 18:18 hours on 16th October 2021, two fire appliances from Carlisle were called to reports of a fire on Kingmoor Road, Carlisle. The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one extended hose reel jet and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.

At 20:37 hours on 15th October 2021, three fire engines from Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Brampton were called to reports of a fire involving the kitchen of a ground floor flat on Victoria Road, Carlisle. Firefighters used two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire, and one casualty was passed on to the care of North West Ambulance Service, suffering from minor smoke inhalation. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and thirty minutes.

At 18:11 hours on 15th October 2021, two fire engines from Egremont and Whitehaven were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on St Bridgets Lane, Egremont. Firefighters extricated one casualty from the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment and made the vehicle safe. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.

At 1302 hours on 13th October 2021, three fire engines from Penrith and Kendal responded to reports of an incident at Aira Force, Ullswater. One casualty was extricated from the water by Mountain Rescue crews and was passed to the care of North West Ambulance Service.

At 11:57 hours on 11th October 2021, three fire engines attended an incident at arnside point, Arnside, Carnforth. Crews were mobilised to reports of two persons trapped in mud. Fire fighters along with the coastguard and RNLI used a rescue sledge, air path, air lance and coastguard sand lance to extricate and rescue one casualty from mud. One further casualty self rescued prior to the arrival of fire service. Crews were detained for two hours.

This was a fire involving the ground floor living room of a mid-terraced domestic property. Fire crews extinguished the fire using eight breathing apparatus, four hose reel jets, one main jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan. Fire crews were detained for approximately one hour and twenty-five minutes.

At 13:42 on the 28th September 2021, three fire engines attended a report of a road traffic collision with persons trapped on Jubilee Lane, Lupton. This was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles with two casualties trapped in each vehicle. Fire crews extricated one casualty and administered first aid. They also assisted three further casualties from the vehicles. Two casualties were passed to the care of ambulance crews. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and ten minutes.

On arrival fire service personnel gave first aid to one casualty who was left in care of paramedics. The vehicle was made safe by fire service. Fire service remained in attendance for approximately thirty five minutes.
