At 13:58 hours on the 11th of November 2019 two fire engines attended high street in Workington to reports of a building fire. The fire, involving the toilets of a domestic property, was extinguished using one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty-five minutes.

On the 9th November 2019 at 09:10 hours three fire engines attended an incident in Lamonby. One casualty was treated for the effects of inhalation of a chemical whilst crews used chemical splash suits and breathing apparatus to resolve the incident. The fire service were in attendance for one hour and thirty five minutes.

At 00:21 hours on 6th November 2019, two fire engines and one fire service Landrover were mobilised to reports of a fire in the open at The crofts, Silloth. On arrival crews found 10m x 10m of land well alight and extinguished the fire using a fire break and a hose reel jet. The fire service were in attendance for approximately two hours.

On the 5th November 2019 at 14:07 hours three fire engines attended an incident in Kirkoswald, Penrith. The fire service extricated one casualty that was trapped in the mud and provided initial first aid. The fire service were in attendance for twenty five minutes.

The incident involved a chimney fire in a domestic property, firefighters used one hose reel jet and Working at height equipment to extinguish the fire . Fire service were on scene for approximately sixty minutes.

At approximately 14:45 hours, three Fire Engines attended reports of a Road Traffic Collision involving two vehicles on a roundabout, Devonshire Road, Barrow-in-Furness. On arrival firefighters assessed the scene and released one casualty from a vehicle using Holmatro cutting equipment and assisted a further casualty, handing them over to paramedics and ambulance crews for further assessments. Crews were engaged at scene for approximately 30 minutes.

At approximately 09:50 hours, two Fire Engines attended reports of a Road Traffic Collision involving two vehicles in Carlisle. On arrival firefighters assessed the scene and released two persons from a vehicle on its side, the casualties were handed over to paramedics and ambulance crews for further assessments. Crews stayed on scene for approximately 20 minutes to contain oil and fuel leaks.

On arrival crews found a private vehicle well alight and extinguished the fire using one breathing apparatus, one hose reel and small tools. Firefighters remained on scene for approximately forty five minutes.

Crews used Hose reel jets, main jets, ladders and light portable pumps to extingquish the fires. Crews were in attendance for several hours.

At 14:09 on 14th October 2019 two fire engines and a rapid response vehicle rescued an elderly gentleman from a twenty five feet deep embankment off the A6, Heversham, Milnthorpe. Firefighters used twin rope access equipment, small tools, spine board and ladders to rescue the casualty. The casualty was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were detained approximately twenty minutes.

At 19:48 hours on Sunday 13th October 2019 two fire engines attended a building fire on Tewthwaite Hill Road, Soulby. The fire was inside an outbuilding which was extinguished using one hose reel and small tools. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately 70 minutes.

The occupier self-rescued prior to fire service arrival. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The property was also ventilated to clear smoke. Firefighters were on scene for twenty seven minutes.

Fire involved a corrugated iron clad building, a quantity of cloth, rubbish and one argon gas cylinder. Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one thermal image camera to extinguish the fire. Fire service remained at scene for approximately one hour.
