At 13:31hrs on Friday 24th June 2022, five fire engines attended an incident on Tyne road, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic building. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Fire service were in attendance for two hours and fifteen minutes.

Firefighters used two hose reels, three breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to bring the fire under control and decontamination was carried out on scene. Fire service were on scene for approximately two hours

At 18:45 hours on 20th June 2022, three fire engines attended an incident in the River Eden, Wetheral, Carlisle. The incident was involving the rescue of two casualties from the water. Firefighters used water rescue equipment, personnel and a rescue sled to bring the casualties to safety and were in attendance for approximately ninety minutes

Firefighters extricated one casualty from the premises using a stretcher and handed the casualty over to the ambulance service also in attendance. Fire crews were on the scene for approximately thirty-five minutes.

On arrival fire service personnel released two casualties from a vehicle using holmatro cutting equipment and small tools. Casualties were left in the care of ambulance. Fire service remained in attendance for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

Ambulance service attended and crews were detained for two hours and thirty minutes.
