Role: Business and Projects Manager
Years of Service: Deborah has worked for Cumbria Outdoors and the County Council for a decade or two, let's say it's in excess of when you stop counting the years. She joined when her son was a toddler as an Administrator/Bookings Clerk on part time, term time basis.
Hobbies and Interests: Deborah really enjoys walking in the hills, but doesn't get to do it often enough! In another life she may have been a gardener, chef or cat breeder - so in this life all three are her interests and hobbies
Special Talent: It's fair to say Deborah has a talent for cooking, and has produced one of two majestic puddings in her time, hence having the 'handle' of @queenmeringue on Instagram!
Typical day - "I don't think there is a typical day - that is why I am still here!"

Hobbies and Interests: Paddling, climbing and generally being outdoors

Role: Business Support
Years of service: 11 years
Hobbies and Interests: Fell walking, mountain biking, dog walking, yoga and travelling the country in her camper van. Currently attempting to conquer all 214 Wainwrights.
Typical day - No day is the same in the office! Role includes taking bookings, running the social media accounts, finance, procurement and supporting the delivery team. This year Helen is undertaking a Higher Apprenticeship in Project Management.
Role: Assistant Housekeeper
Years of Service: 27 years
Hobbies and Interests: Wordsearches, puzzles and shopping
Special talent - negotiating the country roads on a snow day!

Hobbies and Interests: Football and football.
Special talent - Karl is famous for his sticky toffee pudding and steak pie recipe.
Role: Housekeeping Co-ordinator
Years of Service: 12 years
Hobbies and Interests: Yoga, gym bunny and spending time with her large family. She also loves taking her Cockerpoo Ted for country walks.
Typical day - Lesley is responsible for the day to day running of the Housekeeping team. If you want to know anything about dietary requirements and allergens - Lesley is your woman!
Role: Duke of Edinburgh's Co-ordinator
Years of Service: 5 years at Cumbria Outdoors, 10 years for Cumbria County Council
Hobbies and Interests: Pilates, reading, going to the cinema and seeing bands from the 1980s that she didn't see first time around!
Typical day - Lisa's role as Duke of Edinburgh's Award Co-ordinator for Cumbria is varied and includes approving awards, answering queries by email or phone, visiting schools and if she's very lucky a trip to a Gold Award Ceremony in London or Scotland!
Role: Outdoor Education Leader
Years of Service: 14 years
Hobbies and Interests: Cycling - both road and mountain biking, playing in the woods and fell walking. Mia has recently qualified as a Forest School leader and introduced it to Cumbria Outdoors with a local school.
A typical day - Arrive 8.45, attend the morning meeting, meet the group, get them kitted out, do an activity session, get them back for lunch, do it all again in the afternoon!
Role: Business Support
Years of service: 4 years at Cumbria Outdoors, 6 years for Cumbria County Council
Hobbies and Interests: Keeping fit, anything equestrian - including caring for her two resident ponies - and family days with her new grandson.
Special talent: Making special cakes for people
Typical day - Front line office duties. Natalie is the money lady and organises all the invoices together with taking bookings and liaising with customers. The list goes on…
Role: Outdoor Education Leader
Years of Service: 1 year as a permanent member of staff, 2 years previously as a casual and seasonal
Hobbies and Interests: Enjoys events with his local church and spending time with his family. Loves walking, climbing and biking when he can find the time.
Special Talent - Very practical and can turn his hand to most things. Can make a mean roast dinner.
Role: Maintenance Technician
Years of Service: 6 years
No job too big or too small for a man of Williams talents!

Years of Service: First year as a permanent member of staff, 9 years with Cumbria Outdoors
Hobbies and Interests: Climbing, Paddling, Caving and having adventures.
