    Yewdale Community Centre hold a free community lunch, soup and a roll every first Tuesday of the month. This month information on tops tips for staying steady, Community Falls Prevention Worker will be there to give advice.

  • Carlisle Passion Play 2019
    A spectacular and dramatic outdoor performance portraying the betrayal, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The event is free to attend and will be staged by Classic Theatre Cumbria. There will be two 1 hour long performances at 11am and 2pm.

  • The 21st Cumbria Easter Rally
    Brough and Kirkby Stephen Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally. Over 250 vintage buses, lorries and commercial vehicles on show. Free admission, free bus rides. Family event. Saturday evening road run through the fells, food and drink stalls and vintage funfair. Held at some of the most picturesque locations in the Upper Eden Valley and in the Cumbrian North Pennines’ area of outstanding beauty and the recently extended Yorkshire Dales National Park (Westmorland Dales), the two-day event attracts thousands of people to South East Cumbria to view the impressive display of much loved vintage vehicles that, alongside a picturesque road run across the fells, frames a host of other activities and stalls for shopping and food and drink.

  • Moorclose Family Fun Day
    Join us for a FREE family fun day. There will be lots to do for the whole family including crafts, face painting, chalk art, storytelling and much more. Taking place on Saturday 20th April from 1pm-4pm at Moorclose Community Centre. Watch this space for more information, but for now, get the date in your diary! We work on a first come first served basis so arrive early to avoid disappointment!
