  • Cub Sport @ Kendal Library

    Kendal Library

Independent Brisbane band, Cub Sport, are bringing their own brand of indie dream pop to Kendal Library this February as part of their UK and European headline album tour, in collaboration with Get it Loud in Libraries. The independent Australian quartet have achieved great success since the release of their debut album in 2015. Their latest, self-titled album charted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Artist Albums chart and the single, 'Summer Lover' has reached almost 800,000 plays on Spotify since its release in January. Playing in a library will be a welcome change for the Australian quartet and will give audiences of all ages the rare chance to get up close and personal with their new favourite act. Kendal Library has previously hosted a number of live music events, including Cate Le Bon, Rae Morris and Tim Burgess (lead singer of the Charlatans). The success of the Get it Loud in Libraries programme has earned Kendal Library the title of mecca to both books and music
