National Libraries Week logo

From 4 to 10 October 2021 Cumbria Libraries are hosting a variety of fantastic events to showcase how libraries in the county are 'taking action and changing lives'; the theme for this years National Libraries Week.

In celebration of this national event Cumbria's Libraries are hosting a variety of free activities for all the family to come and enjoy. From Lego Club and Baby Bounce groups to local history talks, there will be something for everyone. They will take place in libraries across Cumbria for all the community to enjoy.

Libraries are an important asset for the whole community. They not only provide access to books but also help people improve their opportunities, bring people together, and provide practical support and guidance. Come to our events to enjoy the fun and discover what your local library has to offer.
