Summer Reading Challenge 2018

Mischief Makers is this year's Summer Reading Challenge which marks 80 years of iconic children's comic The Beano. We are looking for young people aged 14 to 24 to help us run the challenge which asks children aged 4 to 11 to read at least 6 books over the summer holiday.

This is a great way to gain skills and experience to add to your CV. Young people who have volunteered in the past have said they have had fun and make new friends whilst getting the satisfaction of helping children and supporting their local library.

Full details can be found in the attached role description and information document. Then you can apply either online or at your local library. A staff member will then contact you for an informal chat about this opportunity.
